Venus Factor Review-The causes of muscular dystrophy

Inherited these conditions, muscular dystrophy and follow different patterns of inheritance different; Inherited type known, muscular dystrophy (DMD), in the pattern of X-linked recessive, which means that this is the mutated gene that causes the disorder on chromosome X, one of the two sex chromosomes, and is thus associated with sex
In males (who have one X chromosome only), one copy of the changed genes in each cell is sufficient to cause this condition.Click here Venus Factor Review

In females (who have two X chromosomes), a mutation must be generally present in both copies of the gene causing the disorder (relatively rare exceptions, and carriers of expression, does not occur as a result of dosage compensation / X disabled) and thus affected by the male X - linked recessive disorders much more than females. It is characteristic of X-linked inheritance is that fathers cannot pass X - linked qualities for their children.
